About

Teo and Marsha ...
In 1991 we moved to
Gainesville, Florida and started a very successful book publishing business that we have
operated ever since. In 1996 my world shifted dramatically. I felt the urge to do more of
the things in life that I had been putting off.
In my heart I wanted to be
more creative and spontaneous. I yearned to get out of my intellect and into my heart. I
started spending time drumming Latino and African rhythms with a local group of friends.
Marsha started doing African dancing with a group of dancers who danced to our drumming.
I started taking voice
lessons in classical singing. These are things that I felt were useless when I was just
starting out in my profession. Now, all of a sudden, they held a great allure for me.
Marsha had always had a
great love of dance. As a child she did every kind of dance, ballet, tap, jazz, modern,
Afro-Cuban and gymnastics. So a year later she urged me to take some ballroom dancing
lessons with her and when I accepted she was surprised and delighted!
We started going out
dancing with each other just about every night of the week and participated in ballroom
dance exhibitions and competitions. That's when we became fascinated with Argentine tango,
which became our passion!
Since 1998
we have immersed ourselves in Argentine tango…received Argentine
tango instruction from the top Argentine tango teachers in the
world…Osvaldo Zotto, Gabriel and Natalia, Sergio and Gachi,
Guillermo and Fernanda, Daniel Lapadula and Laura Brondo, Maria Jose
Sosa, Cecilia Saia, Viviana Parra, Rebecca Shulman, Brooke Burdette,
Miriam and Hugo, Carlos Gavito, Juan Carlos Copes, the Dinzels, Omar
Vega, Tom Stermitz, Hsueh-tze Lee, Brigitta Winkler, Robert Hauk and
Barbara Durr, Angel Garcia, Veronique and Thierry and Ricardo Vidort,
just to name a few.Since
February of 1999 we have been receiving private instruction in
Argentine tango, which was very instrumental in our progress in
Argentine tango.

exhibitions in the Gainesville area including: The SFCC Spring Arts
Festival, University of Florida Gamma Eta Sorority Gala Fund Raiser,

1999 we have been coaching and training people in the technique and
passion of authentic Argentine tango. We are skilled

feeling and heart of Argentine tango to others who want to learn
these skills. We coach, train, teach private lessons, instruct Tango
