About Argentine Tango From the Heart (contd..)

Argentine teachers don't really realize that we Americans can't open our hearts.  They take it for granted.  They all do it from birth.  They would never imagine that they would have to teach us to do something so basic.  Most Argentine tango teachers don’t teach it.

This is the truth.  Most people don't want to believe it. We are not in Argentine tango for the money.  We are in it for the art.  We are in it for the joy. We are in it for the love.

We have to be true to our hearts to feel this joy!  To deviate one iota from the truth would be to give up all joy! You understand that we cannot do that!  We will stay with the truth that is in our hearts. Argentine tango is a little island of bliss. We are so fortunate to have found it.

When Marsha and I teach Argentine tango to Americans we teach all about the heart connection, of opening our hearts to the man or woman who is our partner.  We can learn.   But we must learn the habit of maintaining this heart connection throughout the Argentine tango dance.

We hope more and more people find this Argentine tango from the heart.   In finding it they will grow in their hearts and grow in their humanness. And that is what we are on this Earth to do.  We are here to help. Continue >
