learn how to be at home there, then…read on…I have something
very interesting to tell you…
My Personal Transformation: From
Tango Steps to Tango From The Heart
Today, I'm
going to share what I'm convinced is the single most important event
that triggered a radical transformation in my tango dancing. A few
years ago I was a much different tango dancer, than I am now. I was
an adequate dancer. I knew a lot of steps. And, I was
learning more. I thought everything was great, until one day
my partner and wife, Marsha, told me what was really
happening on the dance floor!
We were at a
milonga in New York City and she had just come off the dance floor,
and was elated. She said, "That guy is a great dancer!"
I looked at him dancing and wasn't impressed. I said, "He
doesn't do half the things that I do. He doesn't even do any
fancy steps."
I couldn't
understand why she was making such a big deal about him. She
responded, "It's not about steps. It's about romance.
It's about the way he holds me close. It's about the way he
makes me feel!"
I was
stunned. I was angry. I said, "Okay, I'll try it your
way." But I was skeptical. I added, "We'll see how it
turns out."
I accepted the
challenge and from then on I did everything I could to to remold
myself into a milonguero, a man who dances from his heart, a man who
dances to please his woman!
We took many
hours of private lessons in close embrace only. We practiced
many hours with each other dancing and experimenting with close
embrace. We studied with close embrace experts in New York, in Paris
and in Buenos Aires.
My personal
transformation took several years, but I knew
I had arrived when I took a trip to the Buenos
Aires milongas. In Buenos Aires, doing the new style of
close-embrace tango, I got rave reviews from the
Argentine ladies that I danced with. I
received so many positive comments that I was walking on air.
I knew that I was on the right track. This spurred me to continue
learning more and more about Buenos
Aires-style close-embrace tango.
And
Marsha was also showered with enthusiastic appreciation form the
Buenos Aires milongueros she danced
with. (Click
Here To Read about Our Experiences in Buenos Aires)
Now,
everything has changed. Our dancing is much
clearer, stronger and more powerful. And for
the first time in my life I can approach any woman absolutely
confident in my ability to give her an
enjoyable dance. What caused this big change? Why are we so
transformed?
. . .Because we now
dancing with our hearts as well as our
bodies...What a great feeling
that
is!
Success in Close-Embrace Tango:
Mastery of the Emotional as Well as the
Physical
In our research
and experimentation with tango we discovered that to do
close-embrace tango it is necessary to hold
and move your body in certain ways. These movements are subtle
and elusive. Learning them is not purely
physical. Because to move in these ways requires an
emotional component as well as a physical one.
There were times we were blocked
physically from dancing the way we wanted, because we were blocked
emotionally. Once we released the emotional blocks we were able to
dance in close-embrace easily and elegantly, and with great
enjoyment!
Tango at this
level is all about opening and allowing your emotions to move you.
That's why we call it "Tango From The Heart". Now Marsha and I
want to share this knowledge with others who want to achieve the
ultimate in elegant, refined and fulfilling close-embrace tango the
Buenos Aires way!

In our Weekend Intensives, We Transmit to
you the Energy of "Tango From The Heart" as well as the
Practical Skills…
Is there a chance that you will be able to have the same
experiences that we have had? Yes.
Why?
Because this ability
is innately human and is available to everyone who allows it.
Because in
our 2-day weekend Tango From The Heart lead-follow
intensive we will transmit to you the energy of Tango From The
Heart as well as the practical
skills.
How do I know it will work
for you?
Because anyone
can learn this. You don't have to be a gifted dancer, or have
special skills nor any particular body
type. This is the original dance that many
people do in Buenos Aires.
Because almost everyone we teach
loves this tango experience. People are exhilarated and elated
after taking classes with us. One man described it as a
"...complete emotional and physical overhaul" (Read Client Testimonials)
Because of the small class size, (Each
weekend class is strictly limited to 12 participants- 6 men and 6
women) we give a lot of one-on-one instruction. This is
why we are able to focus on the most important issues you need to
face in your tango dancing. And there is much, much
more...
We Refine You and Help You Embody the
True Essence of Tango
We are able to
give you the full focus of our attention on
the most important elements in being a good leader or a good
follower in close-embrace Tango From The Heart.
What's more we will answer all your questions and explain the unique
ways you can excel in tango.
Learning tango is like cooking a
gourmet soup. You select the the purest,
freshest ingredients. You measure them
carefully and then mix them up in a big
pot...
In tango the
ingredients are: the way you walk, the way you approach your
partner, the expression on your face, the feel of your touch, the
tenderness of your embrace, the way you advance, the way you
retreat, the way you interpret the music, your rhythm,
the way you move your weight, the way you handle your partner's
weight, the way you are sensitive to your partner's body, the way
you express your emotions and the way you respond to the music and
your partner's emotions.
These
are the raw ingredients of tango. Then you
allow this precious mixture to simmer for
hours. You tend to it, stir it and and refine
it until it becomes a potent broth full of
flavor that delight the senses and enriches
the spirit!
Then, a
glance, a touch, a delicate hand hold
and a warm embrace is alive with the energy of pure
tango! And the dance itself is a sensual
masterpiece.
We dance this way. We
know people who dance this way.
Now it is available to
you...
