Partners Steps:

1. Lunge with leg crawl- end with pivot and low boleo hip shake.
Man leads woman to cross position. From cross, man rocks forward on left foot, flexing right knee. Then stepping back with left, leading woman to step forward on right in a lunge. Now the lady does a leg crawl raising the left arm with her left leg. Then bringing both the leg and arm down at the same time. Man un-flexes his left leg and pivots to the right placing weight on his right leg. He "hugs" the woman's right knee and then exits in crossed feet to lead her to a cross.

2. Continuous forward ocho
Man leads woman to cross and he crosses his right leg behind his left, keeping straight and keeping his weight on his left foot.. He flexes, presses his knees together and moves his torso to direct the woman to uncross, then immediately shifts his weight to his right foot to lead the woman to do a forward ocho with her right foot. He immediately steps around the woman's right side with his left foot which is now free. He gets grounded by putting all his weight on his left foot and using his torso to lead the lady to do a forward ocho with her left foot to come back in front of the man. To do continuous forward ochos in this way, repeat all the steps, starting with flexing and pushing the knees together.

3. Combination step.
Side step and step forward bending right knee and pivoting leading the woman to place her left foot with low boleo over your left foot. The lady shine the man's shoes, then she does a gancho and an amague - Then woman steps forward and side and man steps between her legs with his right to lead sacada leg wrap. Man brings feet together to lead last hook. Then woman does forward ocho to do a leg wrap around man's left hip. The man leads this by turning her and lifting her slightly to signal her to lift her leg around his left hip.

4. Spiced up back ochos with attitude.
Man leads progressive back ochos, but walks very close to the woman's legs as she does the ochos. He caresses her legs with his legs as he walks forward toward her.

5. Entrada with sensual sacada—alternate with spiced up back ochos.
Man steps side left, together right, then walks in crossed feet on woman's left side starting with his left leg. He places his left leg next to the woman's right thigh, when he puts his weight on his left leg he will cause the woman to do a sudden dramatic sacada with her right leg. He can repeat this move as he walks on her left side.

6. Simple forward ocho to serpiete (snake)
Side left, forward right outside woman's left side. Woman steps back left, back right together with left. Man flex knees to lead woman to do a forward ocho with her left foot, then a side step with her right. Man leads her to step very close to his left leg, almost straddling it. Man places his back of his left knee behind her right knee. Then he puts his weight on his left foot and straightens up. The woman steps back with her left foot which is free. Then when he steps forward with his left she does a boleo with her right leg. He flexes his knees and steps back with his left and she does the first part of a forward ocho outside his right leg with her right. He move his right together with his left and pivots to his left leading her with his right arm to do the second part of the forward ocho in front of him with her left leg.

7. Colgada to serpiete (snake)
Man steps side left, forward right then rocks his left leg forward and then back turning to his left side leading the woman to step near his left foot with her right foot. He then places his right foot on the left side of her right foot in a sandwich. He allows her to lean back and e causes her to spin around in a colgada on her right foot. She lets her left foot dangle behind her right. Then the man leads her to put her weight on her left foot, and then places the back of his right knee behind her left knee. Then he puts his weight on his right foot causing her to do a snake to untangle her left foot. She lifts to leg high to create a dramatic exit to this step. The man leads her to step back left, back right and then cross.

8. Double volcada
Lead back ocho. With lady on right, go forward with left and lady back on left. Lady's right is free. Lead volcada, withdraw left and place on left side. Lead second volcada and move left to woman's right side to exit.

9. Ocho cortado with exaggerated hip swivel
Man walks side left, forward right, then rocks forward left flexing his right leg causing the woman to do a rock step with and exaggerated hip swivel or bump. Then the man steps beck with his left. He leads the woman to step forward. Then he turns to his right and flexes his left leg to lead the woman to do a side step (ocho cortada) and then do another hip bump by flexing her left knee and straightening her right leg and doing a bump with her hip. The man turns her and brings his right leg together with his left to lead her to the cross.

10. Progressive forward ochos to high boleo with woman's left leg, then leg wrap around man's right hip.
From back ochos, step behind lady on right, then on left to lead boleo then flex right foot deep between her feet to lead left hook around back . Then step back right together (woman does quick kick with right foot then replaces it near her left foot before exiting) left and then forward right to exit.

11. Entrada-boleo-promenade to kick under knee
Back right, side left, right together with left and change weight. The man places the woman on his left ribcage and steps outside the woman's left side with left foot in crossed feet, he then steps outside her with his right foot and plants his right firmly on the floor in an open position, keeping her weight on her right foot. Then he turns his torso to his left sharply causing the woman to do a sharp high boleo with her left leg. He changes his weight to his left leg to bring her out of the boleo to a forward ocho in front of him. He steps with her moving his right leg into a promenade position. Then the man steps in front of the woman with his left leg behind his right and bending his right knee to offer the woman the opportunity to gancho his right knee with her right leg. The woman must go off axis to do this and the man must be prepared to hold her weight for an instant while she does the gancho.

12. Salida with forward ocho and ocho cortada
Back right, side left, right forward outside the woman's right side. Rock back with the left foot, turning to the left. The withdrawing the right leg and placing it in a crossed position behind the left leg. This will cause the woman to do a forward ocho with her right leg outside the man on his right. Then he places his weight to his right leg which is crossed behind him and he steps squarely to his left near the woman's left heel. This will cause the woman to pivot on her right foot, collect and turn back toward the man to finish the second part of the forward ocho with her left foot.

13. Double low boleo to kick, amague and leg wrap around mans left hip
Step to left placing woman's weight on her right foot. Step forward with right into woman on her left side. Pivot to man's left and flex right leg to lead woman to do a low boleo with her left leg, touching the toe of your left shoe. Then straighten up and bring feet together to lead the woman to bring her left leg up in front of her into a kick, parallel to the man's hips and in front of him. Woman steps in front of man on her left foot and the man leads her to wrap her leg around his left hip.

14. High boleo with lady's right leg from back ocho-with daring woman's kick between man's legs, plus a side lunge and slide.
Lead the lady into a progressive back ocho. When she is on her left leg lead the boleo and step in front of her in an open position with room for her to kick between your legs. Use your torso and upper body to lead the boleo and kicks. After the last of the three kicks lead her to a back ocho to the right and move her to your right hip. Collect the left leg together with the right for an instant, them lunge to your left by taking a side step with the left and flexing the left knee while supporting the woman on your right hip. Un-flex your left leg and rise up a bit, and use your right leg to push the woman about a foot across the floor. You can repeat this to make successive slides. To end, rise up, pushing the lady to her feet, and finish with a tango close, forward side together.

15. Dramatic stop on two-exit with whip lash sacada
Step side on left. Hold the lady in this position while the man steps back 4-5 inches with his right foot and then places the left next to the right creating a very dramatic lean or "tent" position. Holding her with his chest and right foot, the man places his left foot next to the outside of her right foot, causing a "parada" or stop. Then her does a "mordita" or sandwich of her right foot with his left. As the man advances , the woman places her weight back on her left foot. The man places his left foot diagonal to the lady's right foot outside her, without putting weight on the left foot. The woman stay still because she is still "stopped" by the man's right foot. The man then arrastre or drags the woman's right foot, making sure his right knee is outside her right knee before dragging. Once her drags her right leg next to his left leg, she is in an open position. The man moves his right thigh and places it against the woman's left thigh. His his right foot is behind her left foot. Then he moves his weight to his right foot and moves his left foot together with his right to cause the woman to do a very sharp boleo with her left leg. After the boleo the man leads the woman to step forward in a forward ocho in front of him to close.

16. Short three to sacada and boleo-simple
Back right, side left, right together with left, change weight to right foot, and step forward with left outside the woman taking a very short step. This will lead the woman to step back on her left a very short distance in response. Then the man steps forward with his right foot, placing it right up against the woman's left thigh causing her to do a boleo with her left leg. The man can keep repeating this by stepping forward left a short distance causing the woman to keep doing boleos as she walks backward. To end the man step left outside the woman, planting his left foot leading the woman to finish the boleo with a forward ocho on her left foot in front of the man to close.

17. Short three to sacada and boleo-advanced
(exactly the same as point 17. above) Now to lead a more dramatic boleo the man will advance strongly putting his left right against the woman's left thigh, then immediately step feet together with his left leg, turning his body to his left, outside the woman's left side, causing her to do a high boleo. Close with a forward ocho.

18. Cambio de frente from "entrada".
Step side left, side together right, then step outside the woman's left side and place your left foot near her right foot and pivot to your left leading the woman to pivot on her left leg to her right. The woman has her weight on her right, and the man has his weight on his left. Then the man changes weight from his left leg to his right leading the woman change her weight to her left. The man then steps back with his left leg and the woman steps forward outside his right leg with her right. The man steps back with his right and the woman steps forward with her left in parallel feet. The man then turns to his left side and leads the woman to step side around him on his left side. He then pivots on his left foot leading the woman to pivot on her right. The man is now facing the woman in crossed feet and changes weight forward to his left leg then steps outside her left leg with his right and holds a beat while he leads her to cross with his chest.

Women's Adornments:

1. Half moon adornment from side step-for men and women
Man step side left, woman side right. Man places his right leg next to his left with the heels together. The woman balances on her right with her left leg hanging in the air, she allows her left leg to move forward toward the man, then she moves it out toward her left side and then places it back behind her right foot.

2. Back ocho embellishments for women
Man leads a progressive back ocho. Women embellishes the back ochos by stepping back into an ocho on her right leg to her left side and allowing the back of her left knee to rest for an instant on top of her right knee. The she uses the flex of right knee to propel the left leg to move past her right leg and go around to the other side to do another back ocho on her right side.

3. Sensual multiple forward ochos in close embrace
When the woman is doing forward ochos in close embrace, such as the multiple forward ochos as described above, she can raise her rib cage up and down in a sensuous way as she walks forward.

4. Woman's technique for doing back ochos in close embrace
The woman clips her feet behind each other when doing backward ochos in close embrace. She does not pivot. She places the foot doing the ocho as close to the back of her supporting leg as she possibly can. This technique makes it easy for the woman to do backward ochos without breaking connection with the man.

5. Liquid boleos-low, medium and high

Man's Lead:

High boleo: The man steps back right, side left and plants both feet firmly on the ground in a very strong stance, while placing the woman with all her weight on her right foot. Then he turns his torso to his left sharply causing the woman to do a sharp high boleo with her left leg.

Medium boleo: The man steps back right, side left and plants both feet firmly on the ground in a very strong stance, while placing the woman with all her weight on her right foot. Then he turns his torso to his left softly causing the woman to do a medium boleo with her left leg. He does not bend his right leg.

Low boleo: The man steps back right, side left and plants both feet firmly on the ground in a very strong stance, while placing the woman with all her weight on her right foot. Then he turns his torso to his left slowly while bending his right leg causing the woman to do a low , slow boleo with her left leg.

Woman's Technique:

High boleo: The knee of the supporting right leg becomes bent, with the other knee of the left leg either tucked into or beside it. On the right supporting leg, pivot the heel to the right while lifting the calf of the left leg into the air. Keep it high as you pivot in place, the right heel now moving to the left, while bringing the knee of the supporting right leg into a straight position. While both knees are side-by-side, bring the left calf to the right and the left foot next to the right. Then cross over the right. Turn to face the man while remaining crossed.

Medium boleo: The knee of the supporting right leg becomes bent, with the other knee of the left leg either tucked into or beside it. The left leg moves in synchrony with the right, as the right foot pivots, heel to the right, then to the left. The left toe points to the floor, or optional, the side of the big toe is on the floor during the half circular motion. Now finish as before. As the right heel pivots to the left, bring the knee of the supporting right leg into a straight position. While both knees are side-by-side, bring the left calf to the right, and the left foot next to the right. Then cross over the right. Turn to face the man while remaining crossed.

Low boleo: The right knee is deeply bent, while the left leg with toe to floor, moves as the heel of the right foot pivots first to the right, then to the left. The back leg affects a long, low sweep. Then finish as before. As the right heel pivots to the left, bring the knee of the supporting right leg into a straight position. While both knees are side-by-side, bring the left calf to the right, and the left foot next to the right. Then cross over the right. Turn to face the man while remaining crossed.
